Vision once said that there has been a steady incline in the number of powered beings revealed since Tony Stark declared himself as Iron Man. In the MCU, a similar thing could be said about magicians ever since Stephen Strange rose to the rank of Sorcerer Supreme.

Aside from Doctor Strange, The Ancient One, Wong, and Mordo, Wanda Maximoff has solidified herself as one of the strongest beings in the universe thanks to the magic granted her as the Scarlet Witch, and with that came the reveal of Agatha Harkness' sorcery as well.

Each different kind of magic in the MCU is represented by a different colour. Doctor Strange's is orange, Wanda's red, and Agatha's purple. The fact that there appears to be a yellow hue to the power of Shang-Chi and the Ten Rings in the movie's trailer may hint at a new type of magic coming to the MCU.

There is also the suggestion of more magic and mystical aspects to the movie with the Foo Dogs, traditional Chinese guardians who can be seen in battle outside the temple in the trailer.

The MCU is growing ever more magical these days, and Shang-Chi may be joining in on the fun.
