12. Random Giant Alligator

One of the more bizarre sequences in Sharknado 2 has two subway construction workers noticing a flood and heading into the underground maintenance area to shut off the valve. As they reach the valve, they're attacked out of the blue by not a shark, but a gigantic alligator. The beast munches on one of the poor saps with ease, and as the other guy runs for his life, a giant torrent of water catapults the guy, the alligator and a pursuing shark out of the tunnel and towards the train that our protagonists are on. The question remains: where the hell did the giant alligator come from? And what happened to it once the shark began munching on the subway train? It's probably safe to assume that the shark ate both the guy and the alligator, but we like to think there's an oversized alligator roaming the sewers of New York as a set-up for a future Asylum movie.
