Shaun Of The Dead Vs Hot Fuzz - Which Is Better?

3. Rewatchability

Hot Fuzz Simon Pegg
Universal Pictures

It's been 14 years since Shaun, 11 since Hot Fuzz, and while that fact makes me feel old, the movies themselves never do. Part of their beauty, and the reason they're held in such high regard, is that you can watch them over and over and over again without them losing any of the sheen.

Wright tends to pack his work with details, references, and gags that you might not pick up on the first time around, and they tend to get better once you've seen them at least a couple of times. That's the case with both of these, which have stood the test of time and remain stupidly hilarious on every viewing.

Winner: It might seem like a cop-out, but there's no splitting them here. It's a tie.
