Sicario 2: Soldado Review - 5 Ups & 4 Downs
Entertaining yet underwhelming.
Sicario 2: Soldado - or as it's known internationally, Sicario: Day of the Soldado - is out now in cinemas worldwide, and while far from the surging sequel some fans were optimistically hoping for, it is nevertheless a solid, flawed piece of entertainment.
How much you'll enjoy Sicario 2 will depend largely on how easily you can divorce it from what came before. It is, for all intents and purposes, a standalone sequel that makes just a few scattered references to the events of the first film.

If you go for the visuals, the thrills and the performances, though, it'll steer you just fine...
