Sin City: A Dame To Kill For - 15 Easter Eggs & References You Must See

5. Lady Gaga When the cast of A Dame To Kill For was announced, few could have been forgiven for complaining about the introduction of Lady Gaga to the cast, considering the inauspicious history of pop stars making a play for a movie career, but Gaga's cameo is actually pretty muted and far from the horrendous self-parodying "monster" seen on stage. She plays a waitress with limited lines, who gives Johnny (Joseph Gordon- Levitt) the dollar that becomes key to his vengeance plot against Senator Roark. There are also other cameos - notably for Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez (more of which soon - and Bruce Willis also appears in a glorified cameo role several times throughout the film as his ghost haunts/comforts Nancy. The implication is that she's gone mad with grief, but it seems that the finale of the film, which sees him appear to another key character suggests his ghost is actually a real presence (making his decision to haunt Nancy a little questionable).
