1. Always
With this one word, Snape summed up years worth of emotion; of love, longing, conflict, bitterness and sadness. He still loved her after all that time and eventually grew to care for Harry. His love, although constant, changed him, and in the wizarding world, we all know that true love can transform a person and this is evident with their Patronus. Rickman's delivery of this one word is filled with so many conflicting emotions that it's probably one of the most perfect quotes from the whole series. The severity and conviction with which he says it really stays with you and it's nigh impossible to think about this line without hearing his voice. How long will we hold Snape dear in our hearts? Always. Thank you for the memories Alan Rickman (1946-2016). What is your favourite Snape moment? Comment in the thread below!
