Solo: A Star Wars Story - 10 Concerns Raised By The New Trailer

9. "I'm Gonna Be A Pilot. Best In The Galaxy..."

SOLO LANDO

Here's a line that, given we don't know the context surrounding its inclusion, should probably be taken with a pinch of salt. Still, for many fans, this is a dialogue cue that has had a lot of people turning their heads in confusion.

After all, it's never really been a thing that Han had aspirations to be a really, really amazing pilot. He is a great pilot, of course, but that always seemed like a bi-product of his career choice.

He needed to be handy with a ship in order to get away from the countless people chasing him. Luke Skywalker's thing was that he wanted to be a great pilot, and it seems at odds with the entire franchise to randomly make this an element of Han's backstory, too.

The line, of course, might turn out to be a lie or a fabrication when the final movie swings around, though hearing it here is still a bit concerning. Wanting to be the best pilot in the galaxy doesn't gel with the Han we know and love, and even if it turns out that he later abandons this dream, it feels like an unnecessary angle.
