2. Darth Maul Lives

If you aren't a follower of the Rebels universe (or the old Expanded Universe content), you might not have been aware that Darth Maul actually survived being chopped in half by Obi-Wan Kenobi. So the sight of the now robot legged former Sith apprentice sitting alive and proud (in hologram form) on Vos' bridge will have come as a shock.

Even with the knowledge that he was in Rebels after The Phantom Menace was no way of preparing you for the appearance (assuming the cameo wasn't spoiled for you ahead of time). But it's good to see that he's back and there could be an opportunity to expand on his movie-stealing role in Episode One in future.

Here's hoping, anyway.
