Solo: A Star Wars Story - Every Major Character's Best Moment
9. Beckett Betrays Han
After stealing the coaxium and successfully pulling off the Kessel Run, Han and co. are confronted by "marauder" Enfys Nest (Erin Kellyman), who reveals that herself and her Cloud Rider gang are in fact rebels fighting back against the galaxy's crime syndicates and the Empire.
Han then has a change of heart, planning to give the coaxium to Nest and trick crime lord Dryden Vos (Paul Bettany) with fake coaxium. However, upon meeting Vos, the villain reveals that he knows the coaxium is fake thanks to his inside man: Tobias Beckett (Woody Harrelson).
After all, Beckett hold Han earlier in the movie not to trust anyone, and his self-serving duplicity doesn't even end there. After Han reveals that he anticipated Beckett's betrayal and the coaxium is real, Beckett attempts to take it for himself while Han and Qi'ra (Emilia Clarke) battle Vos.
This twist ensured Beckett was more than just another typical Star Wars mentor: no matter how likeable and bada** he seemed, he was always looking out for number one.
