Spectre: 23 Easter Eggs & References You Need To See

16. The Familiar Tech

The new DB10 might be brand new but it comes with some distinctly old school flourishes. It's fitted with an ejector seat - like the DB5 from Goldfinger - on the driver's side, as well as options for a backfire and exhaust guns. The way the buttons are mounted on the central console is particularly reminiscent. Hilariously, because Bond steals it, the weapons aren't loaded. Q also gets his own Easter Egg joke, as he makes a quip about Bond bringing back the old DB5 in one piece, "not one piece of it". The goofy laugh that follows is as much of a sign-post to the self-awareness of the line's importance to Desmond Llewellyn's version of the character, as it is to Q's terrible pun.
