Spectre: 8 Most Convincing Fan Theories

2. Franz Oberhauser Is Blofeld

The Theory

It€™s been said a million times and has almost been accepted as fact, Christoph Waltz€™s Franz Oberhauser will turn out to be a reinterpretation of the classic James Bond nemesis Ernst Stavro Blofeld.

Why It Could Work

Few coudl argue that Christoph Waltz wouldn't make a fantastic Blofeld: he€™s a tremendous actor with a proclivity for playing villains so there are few objections to this theory being true.

We already know that Waltz is playing the main baddie Oberhauser, and judging by his costume choices and his position within SPECTRE, it€™s a logical assumption that he€™s a modern re-telling of Blofeld.

If this is in fact the case, it certainly wouldn€™t be a surprise, but that doesn€™t mean people don€™t want to see it happen anyways. If they€™re going to use all of Blofeld€™s defining personality traits to create a new villain, they may as well just call him Blofeld and keep the fans happy.

But what if there€™s another person who could much more shockingly be revealed as Blofeld...?
