Spider-Man 3: 10 More Characters Who Could Return For MCU

4. The Lizard (Dylan Baker)

Had Sam Raimi stuck around, then chances are Dylan Baker's Dr. Curt Connors would have ultimately transformed into The Lizard. There were once rumblings that it was the plan for Spider-Man 4, but could Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios now decide to bring him back as this ally to Peter Parker?

Rhys Ifans took on the role in The Amazing Spider-Man, but underwhelmed, as did that awful CGI Lizard design. As a result, that's a well it would be foolish to return to.

Baker, on the other hand, would effortlessly fit back into Connors' shoes, serving as a helpful advisor to Spider-Man, and a teacher to Peter. If he were to become The Lizard, then visual effects can make up for the fact that the actor's a little older since the last time he played the character.

As for why Sony Pictures would be on board with his return, The Lizard could easily factor into a number of other upcoming projects, including the solo movie that's in the works revolving around Kraven the Hunter (having those two clash would be pretty awesome to see on screen).
