2. Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire)
With Sam Raimi stepping behind the camera to direct Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (a movie it appears will explore both alternate timelines and the Marvel Multiverse), most fans are convinced that Tobey Maguire will make a surprise appearance as Spider-Man.
That would blow everyone's minds, while setting the stage for an adventure that spans the entire "Spider-Verse" in Spider-Man.
Uniting Tom Holland's web-slinger with the versions played by Maguire and Andrew Garfield in a live-action film has all the makings of a truly epic crossover. It may seem a little soon for Marvel Studios to take Peter Parker in that direction, but bear in mind that the character has already travelled into outer space, fought the Avengers, and gone toe to toe with Thanos.
After all that, meeting different versions of Spider-Man isn't too much of a stretch, and while Maguire has stepped away from acting in recent years to focus on producing, what a comeback this would be for an actor who first brought the wall-crawler to the big screen way back in 2002.
