Spider-Man 3: 10 More Characters Who Could Return For MCU

Marvel Studios has completely reinvented Mary Jane Watson as Michelle "My friends call me 'MJ'" Jones. Liz Allan popped up as a love interest in Spider-Man: Homecoming, but there's been no sign of Gwen Stacy, and heading down the love triangle route would be a little tedious at this stage.

After all, Tom Holland and Zendaya have tonnes of charisma on screen, and trying to split them up with Gwen's intervention wouldn't make for particularly enjoyable viewing. There are, however, other ways the character can be used, and that might be where a returning Emma Stone comes in.

Instead of Gwen being little more than one of the Green Goblin's victims, this version could be a badass S.W.O.R.D. agent or even a top scientist in Oscorp.

Heck, if Marvel Studios really wants to explore the Multiverse, then why not have her suit up as a live-action Spider-Gwen? That would be beyond spectacular, and something of a role reversal too.
