Spider-Man: Homecoming - 10 Valid Criticisms That Can't Be Ignored

7. Stan Lee's Cameo Was Really Lazy

In fairness, even the crappiest Stan Lee cameo is still good for raising a smile in all but the most hardened Marvel cynic, a fun little in-joke that just about everyone in the audience can understand.

However, his brief appearance in Homecoming as Gary, a New York resident who shouts at Peter from his window, is among his more low-effort cameos in recent years, and almost certainly one of the several that was quickly shot by James Gunn in a batch.

It's a pretty far cry from, say, his hilarious appearance as the FedEx delivery guy in Captain America: Civil War, and honestly Marvel shouldn't feel the absolute need to shove Lee into every single one of their movies if they're not going to be a little more imaginative with his roles.
