Michael Keaton's Adrian Toomes aka Vulture is certainly a step up from most of the villains in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date, but there's still the pronounced feeling that more could've been done with him.

He conspicuously disappears from the movie on a number of lengthy occasions when he might've benefited from greater character development, even if this perhaps does help prevent audiences from predicting the movie's big plot twist, that he is of course Liz's father.

A few more scenes of Keaton in the Vulture suit causing mayhem might've also made the stakes and general weight of his villainy feel more palpable, especially as the film did a better-than-expected job giving him interesting and relatable motives.
