4. Peter Wears The Iron Spider Suit

The Rumour: At some point in the film, Spidey gets gifted a new Iron Spider suit by Tony Stark, coming complete with mechanical arms for use in both maneuvering and combat.

The Truth: To be totally fair here, the Iron Spider suit does briefly appear at the end of the movie, when Stark tries to tempt Peter with it, but he surprisingly turns it down.

Indeed, Peter is never shown wearing it, nor are the mechanical arms glimpsed even once, its full MCU design instead being left up in the air until he inevitably gets to use it, perhaps in Infinity War.

This was perfect fanboy bait, leaving fans excited but desperately gagging for more. Well done.
