Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 - 10 Comic Stories It Could Adapt

In many ways, the Ultimate Spider-Man arc Learning Curve would be a natural successor to Homecoming.

Brian Michael Bendis's 2002 storyline is set relatively early in Peter Parker's crimefighting career, and it revisits the death of his Uncle Ben, a key figure in the hero's life who Homecoming glaringly neglected to mention.

The story finds Peter researching his guardian's murder on Google and tracing it all the way to the top, a trail which ends at the Kingpin's door.

As with Homecoming, Learning Curve's coming-of-age elements are strong and the story's take-home message is a tough one to swallow - sometimes bad people get away with bad things and there's little you can do about.

Once again, the Kingpin's involvement would be an issue, but it's an easy fix. Swap him out for a member of the Sinister Six, or just merge the television and movie universes like the fans have been calling for since Daredevil debuted on Netflix.

If nothing else, an adaptation of this story would rectify Uncle Ben's glaring omission from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and address his death in an organic way.
