Spider-Man: Homecoming - Every Character Ranked Worst To Best

1. Peter Parker/Spider-Man

Even though he wasn't involved in Civil War as much as some fans might have wanted, Tom Holland made a pretty firm claim to being the best Spider-Man ever seen on the big screen. If there was any doubt, Homecoming absolutely confirms that to be the case.

He is cocky and charming enough to balance perfectly, and while he skirts very close to being annoying (partly through his obnoxious enthusiasm for everything and partly because he makes frankly terrible decisions), he's always intoxicatingly likeable.

His Peter Parker isn't as awkward as Tobey Maguire's (but that is the point, as this film version is based on the Ultimate iteration) and isn't as cloyingly try-hard as Andrew Garfield's, and there's a good case for him being the best on that front too.

The best testament to his performance is that it already feels like a massive shame that he's not going to be involved in Infinity War very much.
