2. Peter Parker Is Still Awkward

Captain America: Civil War allowed Tom Holland to showcase the twitchy, awkward nerd that is Peter Parker with the actor getting all the mannerisms and stutters down to a fine art. Thankfully, this enjoyably uncomfortable performance looks to be continuing.

A real highlight from the trailer that best demonstrates this occurs during a conversation with slick dick Tony Stark as he reaches over to open the car door only for young Peter to misinterpret this for a hug. A gag that admittedly has been done before, the chemistry between the two as well as the pitch perfect delivery from Holland manage to force a smile on even the most cynical lips.
