With all these things considered, it's time to take a tally and determine the overall victor. Which is truly the best Spider-Man movie ever?

Winner: Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2 has six wins while Homecoming lands a close-but-no-cigar five, ensuring that the 2004 classic's status as one of the all-time best superhero movies remains untouched.

It's entirely possible that Homecoming's sequel could end up beating out Raimi's film, but for now Spider-Man 2 remains the almost impossibly high benchmark for Spider-Man movies, and indeed all comic book movies, to aim for.
