Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse - Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
9. Wilson Fisk/Kingpin
We could spend all day comparing the animated version of Wilson Fisk to the live-action one we've seen on Marvel's Daredevil for the past several years but, quite frankly, that just wouldn't be fair.
The fact of the matter is that while yes, there are better interpretations of the character out there, Into the Spider-Verse's Kingpin is still a very good main villain.
His motivation is believable, as well as consistent with the character's history in the comic books. Additionally, his methods are as conniving, over-the-top, and insufferably self-serving as one would expect from the most powerful, feared crime bosses in the Marvel universe, not to mention the fact that he's as physically intimidating as ever.
Besides, while it wasn't the film's main Spidey, this version of the Kingpin actually succeeded in Killing a Spider-Man. That's something that the villains of Spidey films have been trying their hardest to pull off for over 15 years now. So, the fact that Fisk actually managed to pull it off is a pretty big deal, especially for those who have been following Peter Parker's big screen adventures since the beginning.
