Doctor Strange has never been the most warm and fuzzy MCU superhero, but he's still a superhero, using his magical powers to save lives. However, in No Way Home, he borderlines on villainous.

After capturing the multiversal villains, Peter and Strange clash over how to handle them. The pair learn that many of these villains will immediately die in a battle with Spider-Man if sent back to their own universes. Peter being Peter wants to try and save these villains, giving them a second chance. Strange, however, is not so generous, insisting that they be immediately sent back home to fulfill their destinies and die.

Peter and Strange fight over the matter, with Peter trapping Strange in the Mirror Dimension, giving himself some time to try and save these villains. Though when Strange returns in the final battle, he's quick to side with Peter (all three of them), it's still troubling to see a superhero actively work to kill people.

Strange is also particularly heartless towards Norman Osborne, immediately detaining him although he seemed to pose no threat and came to the Sanctum Sanctorum seeking help. It's unsettling knowing that Strange could kill him, along with Lizard, Sandman, Doc Ock, and Electro, at the push of a button.

Though What If's Doctor Strange is supposedly the "evil Doctor Strange," No Way Home's version of the character is a close second.
