16. Willem Dafoe's Entire Unhinged Performance

We really don't deserve Willem Dafoe, who ends up playing No Way Home's main villain, reprising the role of Norman Osborn aka Green Goblin from the original Sam Raimi trilogy.

Dafoe does a brilliant job getting back into character but also evolving Osborn, depicting both sides of him with equal clarity: the man struggling to overcome his mental illness, and the savage, unrelenting Goblin part of his persona.

Dafoe's portrayal of the Goblin is especially great, all snarling and shamelessly over-the-top mugging, yet also proving unexpectedly imposing while fighting Peter, slamming him through floors and cementing himself as one of Spidey's most fierce foes.

Take a bow, Willem, because you absolutely nailed it. We never doubted you.
