To some, Alfred Molina's Otto Octavius is the greatest of all the Spider-Man villains brought to the silver screen over the years.

In No Way Home, we got far more than just a generic rogue here for the sake of it. Instead, Doctor Octopus was a massively important character in so much of No Way Home's narrative.

Otto is the first villain we see opposite Tom Holland's Spider-Man, and he's also the first to be helped by Peter. After that, Octavius is keen to offer his genius smarts up to Parker and the pair strike up quite the friendship - as encapsulated by Doc Ock turning up in the climactic battle to save a couple of Spider-Men by taking out Electro.

For Molina, he hadn't missed a step in his 17 years away from the tentacles.
