Spider-Woman: 10 Things You Need To Know Before Her Movie

3. Spider-Woman May Be Part Of A Much Bigger Plan At Sony

Silver & Black was set to revolve around a team-up between Silver Sable and Black Cat, but for reasons which aren't entirely clear, Sony Pictures decided to pull the plug on the project. Now, it's said that each character will receive their own solo outing, though there's not been much movement on that front recently (leaving fans to wonder whether they're ever actually going to become a reality).

However, leaked plot details for Silver & Black confirmed that the movie was set to end with a female team of heroes assembling, a sign that the studio has big plans for these characters moving forward.

While they may have slowed down when that team-up happens (which is likely why all these superheroes are getting their own solo outings beforehand), it's clear there's a bigger plan in place, especially with characters like Jackpot, Silk, and Madame Web all receiving their own movies. Throw Silver Sable and Black Cat into the mix, and we have all the makings of a movie as epic as The Avengers.
