10. The New Aunt May

The whole She's Too Young And Sexy! debacle that met Tomei's casting was a ridiculous distraction from the fact that Marvel have landed themselves a supremely talented actor who will bring a completely different side to the character.

It also ignores the fact that Tomei is unquestionable old enough to have a school age nephew, and that her being attractive has absolutely nothing to do with her ability to play Aunt May convincingly. Just because she doesn't look exactly as she did on the comic page doesn't mean it's inherently a problem.

Tomei is charismatic, talented and will bring a healthy injection of heart alongside Holland, and if younger means a stronger character than Sally Field's wet blanket from the Amazing Spider-Man films, then it's entirely welcome.
