Star Trek Beyond: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
3. Spock (Zachary Quinto)
Much like Kirk, Spock has many moments of introspection throughout the film, specifically once he learns of Spock Prime's death, and meditates on what this means for himself.
It's a good deal more interesting than Spock and Uhura breaking up, which is pure soap opera and thankfully not lingered on long. Pegg also smartly pairs Spock with Bones, their differing personalities resulting in some of the movie's most hilarious and entertaining moments (and if you ever wanted to hear Spock say "horse s***", well, you got your wish).
And finally, be honest: you got a lump in your throat when Spock pulled out the picture of the classic TOS crew at the end of the film, right? Once again, Quinto knocks it out of the park.
