Star Trek: Every Starfleet Starship Class Ranked Worst To Best

53. Mayflower

Star Trek Mayflower Type
CBS

The Mayflower type was similar to the prime universe Miranda class ship, though it did not have the rollbar over the back portion of the primary hull - similar to the USS Saratoga and the USS Lantree.

The USS Mayflower was one of the ships that partook in the Battle of Vulcan, easily destroyed by the superior Narrada.

However, thankfully there were other classes of the ship left, docked at spacedock as the Enterprise began its delayed journey to Vulcan. Another such ship - the USS Defiant - was in place. This variation of the ship did in fact have that rollbar, serving as an almost direct representative of the Miranda class in Nero's alternate reality.
