Star Trek: Every Starfleet Starship Class Ranked Worst To Best

38. New Orleans

Star Trek New Orleans Class
CBS

The New Orleans class frigate was another casualty of the Borg at Wolf 359. The New Orleans class was another 'kitbash', though like many of the others, it was a sturdy design that deserved more screen time than it received. There were New Orleans class ships in orbit of Dytalix B, alongside the Ambassador Class USS Horatio. They were not shown though.

The USS Kyushu was present at Wolf 359, though it was no match for the Borg Cube. Its distinctive design included three sensor pods, two above the drive section and one below. This made the vessel a perfect candidate for exploration missions.
