24. Vesta
The Vesta class is a starship equipped with slipstream drive, introduced to Starfleet by the returning USS Voyager. In being one of the fastest types of ships in the fleet, it played a major role in the Borg invasion of the Federation in the Destiny novel series.
Including the vessel here (while not including other expanded universe vessels) may raise some eyebrows, though the vessel has earned its stripes at this stage and appearing on-screen seems to be only a matter of time (especially with the recent appearance of the USS Titan).
The USS Aventine, commanded by Captain Ezri Dax, is one of the most advanced ships in the fleet - depicting exactly what Starfleet can do when it has a chance to play with the good toys!
