9. Star Trek: Picard (2386)
Like the 2399 variant, the uniforms seen in the 2386 flashbacks in Star Trek: Picard were designed by Christine Clarkson. These new "old" costumes sit comfortably in the Star Trek chronology, incorporating construction similar to the uniforms seen in Star Trek: First Contact through Nemesis and color schemes reminiscent of the uniforms from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Voyager.
Maybe it's just the fun of seeing Patrick Stewart back in uniform, but Star Trek: Picard's 2386 uniforms are superior to the slightly more villainous costumes worn in the 2399 "present day". Clearly an intentional throwback to Robert Blackman's work on the earlier spinoffs, these costumes reflect the kinder, gentler Starfleet of those series and look awfully comfy.
