Star Trek: Ranking Every Starfleet Uniform Worst To Best
8. Star Trek: Enterprise
Dispensing with the futuristic black and division color space suits of the TOS and TNG-eras, costume designer Robert Blackman embraced Star Trek: Enterprise's role as a prequel series by cladding the crew of the NX-01 in what amounted to very well tailored NASA flight suits.
The perfect blend of in-universe practicality and recognizable Star Trek imagery, these blue Starfleet flight suits incorporated the standard division colors (reverting command back to gold) with shoulder piping that hinted at the iconic Star Trek: The Next Generation uniforms to come.
Since Enterprise was set well before Gene Roddenberry's vision of a conflict-free, closure-free future, the no buttons and no zippers edict was subverted by the inclusion of numerous pockets and a whopping 13 zippers, predating The Orville's fashion advice: Always go with one more zipper than you're comfortable with.
