5. The Music!

Along with the SFX, this movie really brought it home with the music. The theme was reused in a few different places, including as the main theme for TNG. The Enterprise tour music is just perfect for that scene, and Ilia€™s theme works out quite well, too. Plus that gorgeous Klingon theme music, which suits their characters oh-so very well.
