Star Wars: 10 Best Female Characters (Of The Canon Series)
6. Asajj Ventress
When it comes to being a warrior in the Star Wars universe, Asajj Ventress is someone who has truly seen and done it all.
After escaping the slavery she was forced into early in life, Asajj trained as a Jedi Padawan until her master was killed and, overcome by her grief, turned to the dark side. It was then that she trained under Count Dooku and became a Sith assassin. Not only was she a member of the two most powerful orders of Force users in a matter of years, but she frequently clashed lightsabers with the likes of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, more than holding her own each time.
She also survived Dooku's ultimate betrayal and was baptized as a Nightsister, another immensely powerful faction. And when her clan was killed, turned to the life of a bounty hunter, during which time she briefly served as a member of Boba Fett's syndicate. Asajj was rubbing shoulders with some of the most notable figures and groups in the galaxy, all while setting a standard as an exceptionally skilled warrior and Force user.
Asajj is the very definition of a survivor and her story came to a bittersweet end as she gave her life in one last noble and redeeming act.
