Star Wars: 10 Directors Who Could Fix Han Solo

1. Matt Reeves

Why He Could Fix It: Matt Reeves is one of the most reliable and consistent blockbuster filmmakers working today, having delivered terrific work on Cloverfield, Let Me In and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, so while he's never touched full-on space-faring sci-fi before, it's hard to imagine him screwing this up.

Plus, he's pals with J.J. Abrams, which can never hurt.

How Likely Is It?: Though Reeves will next be helming The Batman, the film remains without a release date so it's clearly a little while off, certainly giving Reeves time to jump on Han Solo as his publicity duties for War for the Planet of the Apes wind down over the next few weeks.

The timing looks like it'd work out, though perhaps he wants to remain on standby for Batman in case Justice League is a mammoth hit in November and Warner Bros. decides to press ahead with the solo movie much sooner than expected.

Still, Disney should definitely lock him down if they can. 7/10
