4. Too Revealing

Like the metal bikini before it this one plagues conventions across the globe. Not that most guys will have a problem with it at the time and girls might compliment the outfit, but in regular everyday society a half naked picture of you dressed like some twi'lek dancer has just got to be humiliating. Same thing goes for guys costumes as well as girls. Dressing up in a loincloth to be a Gamorrean guard might seem like a good idea at the time, but then again what if you get back to the office on Monday to find that most of the staff is laughing at your picture on the Internet? It would take a lot of guts not to be embarrassed by that.
