9. Ki-Adi Mundi
Mundi was an incredible tactician, which proved effective during the Clone Wars. He commanded vast legions of clone troopers, and ensured the Republic's victories on many worlds.
Mundi was one of few Jedi permitted to have a family, as a result of his species being endangered. His family was murdered during the Clone Wars, and though this could have led to Mundi turning to the Dark Side, it merely reinforced his commitment to the Light.
Ki-Adi Mundi was granted a position on the High Council without the rank of Master; this was testament to his potential as a powerful Jedi, and asset to the Order. Mundi was one of few Jedi that Mace Windu used to create a strike team to rescue Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker on Geonosis, sparking the first battle of the Clone Wars.
He was highly intelligent, as a result of his binary brains, housed in his elongated cranium, and was sought by the Council for wisdom and advice. Mundi was an invaluable general in the Clone Wars, and though he perished on Mygeeto as a result of Order 66, his legacy lived on.
