Star Wars: 10 Possible Standalone Films

1. Boba Fett

For one of the most enigmatic characters in the Star Wars universe, Boba Fett has proven to be one of the most popular villains in the franchise, especially for someone who only spoke four lines in the Original Trilogy. It€™s not hard to see why Boba Fett has had such a massive impact on the fandom, however; not only does Fett have a distinctive and cool look, he€™s quite obviously a dangerous foe to tangle with as Darth Vader specifically singles him out about the use of deadly force in the capture of the Millennium Falcon. Additionally, not only does he successfully track them, but Leia, Chewie and Lando fail to stop him kidnapping Han, gaining the notoriety from Star Wars fans for his villainous deeds. Despite having an intimidating introduction, it cannot be argued Boba Fett got the short end of the stick as he was easily dispatched, by an accidental blow no less, in Return of the Jedi. A standalone film based entirely around him would go quite far to redeem the character€™s tough reputation and show exactly why he is the best bounty hunter in the galaxy. It wouldn€™t even need to expand on his origins too much as they were already explored in Attack of the Clones and touched upon in The Clone Wars animated series, but fans could further see the transition from young boy into the famous bounty hunter. Perusing the galaxy with Boba Fett on one of his bounty hunter adventures would make for a great film as it would also give audiences a chance to know him personally. Fett actually has a rigid code of honour, based on his father€™s Mandolorian heritage, and only takes certain bounties that fall in line with his code. He€™s much more of a grey anti-hero than an outright villain as he believes himself to be an agent of order. A Boba Fett film would be a great opportunity to expand on his character and add to the legend that is Boba Fett.
