9. Salacious B. Crumb

Salacious B. Crumb appears in Return Of The Jedi, as one of the many denizens of Jabba's palace near the beginning. Best known for his shrill, irritating laugh (and attempting to nibble out the 'eyes' of C-3PO,) Crumb is one of the more memorable background characters from the third film. Crumb started his 'partnership' with Jabba the Hutt, after stowing aboard one of Jabba's ships. He was later discovered trying to steal food from Jabba's food bowl, resulting in the Hutt attempting to eat him alive. Crumb managed to escape, covering henchmen Bib Fortuna and Bidlo Kwerve with green goo in the process. Fortuna and Kwerve were furious, but Jabba found the whole ordeal highly entertaining. He struck a deal with Crumb, saying that he could work at his palace as the court jester, and allowed to eat and drink as much as the monkey-lizard wanted. There was just one catch: Crumb had to amuse Jabba at least once every day, or he'd be eaten.
