The diminutive green chap is another iconic character who wasnt handled particularly well by the prequels and arguably now deserves a shot at leading his own movie to make up for it. Theres already been talk of a Yoda movie, and there are a couple of directions you could take with it. An obvious one would be Yoda: Origins, taking us back through the centuries to the childhood and Jedi upbringing of Frank Ozs character. Did he fight any Sith in his youth? Did he ever display a temper? Who taught him to backflip? These are questions that could have interesting answers. Or you could place a Yoda movie somewhere between Revenge Of The Sith and The Empire Strikes Back. Theres a lot of time there. Did Yoda ever break his exile? Did Vader go looking for him? Again, theres story potential there if the right scriptwriter got his hands on it. Personally, I would rather see the latter option a Yoda film between his other appearances, but maybe one with a few flashbacks to tell us about his past. Maybe something like Man Of Steels structure could be used, allowing us to see Yodas earlier life in flashbacks intercut with the main story. A good film, this could be.
