Star Wars: 10 Things Darth Vader Must Bring To Rogue One

1. More Action

Vader€™s best lightsaber battle is when he fights Luke on Bespin: he€™s so in control of the fight that he mostly uses one hand. That€™s the kind of tenacity we expect to see in Vader for Rogue One. Kathleen Kennedy, the film€™s producer, has stated that this movie will be grittier than what we€™re used to in a traditional Star Wars movie. The action will be from a ground-war perspective, most likely similar to World War II battles. And who better to be leading the charge against the Rebels than Vader himself? Seeing Vader swinging his lightsaber on the battlefield would add to his deadly appeal. One thing Star Wars Rebels definitely nailed is how much of a threat Darth Vader is. Seasoned Jedi Kanan Jarrus and rookie Ezra Bridger barely live through a brief skirmish with Vader. This is the same kind of action that would amplify the danger the Rogue One Rebels have to face. With the movie aiming to be grittier, maybe Vader would even cleave someone in half. Rogue One would be the perfect chance to see Darth Vader in action during his glory days, while also providing dramatic tension for the Rebels to achieve their mission.
