Throughout the computer-animated series famously created by Dave Filoni, Star Wars: The Clone Wars bridged the gap between the films Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith with fun adventures across the galaxy. Alongside some new faces made exclusively for the show were the iconic characters from the films that united for some entertaining episodes that made it an acclaimed show.
In a three-episode arc during season four, Kenobi finds himself caught as a slave during a mission to free those under Separatists' control. Seeing first-hand what the enslaved people are forced to do, he learned what his former apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, went through during his childhood days on Tatooine.
During this arc, audiences see how ruthless and manipulative the slave owners are as they can even crush the spirit of the confident Obi-Wan, even making him flinch at the slightest motion of a whip from one of the oppressors. Usually stoic to teach Anakin and other young Jedi the ways of the Force, this is one of the few times where he breaks the oath of a Jedi and succumbs to fear.
Presented in the series as the mature and strategic knight who upholds the rules, the writers showed cracks in his armour and how even someone as great as Kenobi can fall into strong emotions under the most dangerous situations presented throughout the animated series.
