Star Wars: 10 Ways The New Films Could Improve The Prequels

4. Make Boba Fett Interesting Again

Because of Attack Of The Clones, fans have had to accept that the uniquely enigmatic bounty hunter Boba Fett isn€™t that unique after all. Like every original Clone Trooper, he€™s a copy of Jango Fett, with the only difference being that he didn't have accelerated ageing. The last that cinematic audience members saw of him was the cheesy shot of Boba holding his father€™s disembodied head in his hands. The new Star Wars films seriously need to make this character likeable again, which is a tough task given that this uninspired origin story is still canon. However, with the right script and some top action direction, the character could yet be dragged back to highest echelons of cool where he started out. There€™s already been talk of a solo Boba Fett movie, as well as rumours that he may show up in Rogue One or the young Han Solo film. Any of these options could work, as long as the character is treated with some respect. He needs to be stoic and strong again, unlike the crying young boy from Attack Of The Clones. Canon being canon, you€™d assume that Temura Morrison would need to play - or at least voice - the character as an adult. Time will tell on that, but hopefully it won€™t be long until Boba€™s back on the big screen rectifying the errors of the prequels.
