Yep, the Star Wars Holiday Special. It is easily the worst thing ever made in television history. It's so bad that it's embarrassing to watch if you call yourself a fan of Star Wars in any way. Airing only once in 1978 the story was about Han Solo attempting to get Chewbacca back to his home planet so that he can celebrate the Wookie's Life Day (Christmas) with his family. Just try to imagine a family of wookies living in a modern day suburban home watching music videos on TV, near Christmas time, baking cookies. Princess Leia sings, Luke Skywalker gets sick, and for the first time ever, Boba Fett is introduced to the world. Talk about a tough debut. This one is real bad. So bad that ever since it came out George Lucas has done his best to convince the world that it never existed.
