5. John Boyega Is A New Force User
John Boyega is confirmed as playing Finn, who fans saw dressed as a stormtrooper in the trailer. According to leaks, Finn is a newly force-sensitive stormtrooper who has deserted and is being hunted by his former colleagues on Tatooine (these scenes were filmed in Abu Dhabi). The trooper leading the hunt for him is also rumoured to be a new "chrome" trooper. In some rumours, the chrome trooper is called an inquisitor who wields a lightsaber. In the trailer, fans saw stormtroopers preparing to land on a desert world; could this be a sequence where Finn's former comrades attempt to capture him? Finn's character arc is said to be of discovering the light side of the Force, and Finn joins the rebels.
