Star Wars 7: 6 Reasons That Adam Driver Will Be Jacen Solo

4. Jacen And Jaina Solo

Within the Star Wars mythology, the popular plot point that is brought to light but never really elaborated on is that of the sibling connection between Luke and Leia. If taken from its episodic perspective, the tale about Luke and Leia as twins separated at birth adds a more family twist to the entire Star Wars story and strengthens the ties even further between the trilogies as a family saga. The sequel trilogy could take that bond even further by introducing both Jacen and Jaina Solo, the twin siblings of Han and Leia. With Driver as the Vader-like villain he is rumored to be and the assumption that he will be playing Jacen Solo in the upcoming trilogy, it must also be expected that fans are close to a big reveal about a female actress that will play the other Solo offspring. A duality quickly comes into perspective with a light vs. dark theme in which the Skywalker/Solo families are split in two as one of them takes up the path of the Dark side while the other struggles to redeem them the same way that Darth Vader was redeemed at the end of Return of the Jedi by his son. Rather than seeing a son redeem the father, we see a strong sibling connection at work as Jaina battles her brother as a beacon of the Jedi while the other embraces the Dark Side. It's a powerful narrative and one that would be extremely captivating for audiences to witness while holding true to the classic Skywalker struggle but with a completely new twist. Can the love of a sibling be as powerful as that of a father to their son?
