6. Luuke Skywalker

Timothy Zahn is long considered the father of the Star Wars Expanded Universe. He introduced the Heir to the Empire trilogy to the world in the early 1990s in which we saw the birth of a number of the most beloved characters from the Expanded Universe. This trilogy was even considered canon by George Lucas himself when it was first released and there were to be no more movies after Return of the Jedi. Putting it simply, "Luuke" Skywalker was the clone of, you guessed it, Luke Skywalker. The story goes that after the battle between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader on Cloud City, Luke's hand was recovered and cloned thus creating a darker version of himself. The clone in the story even used Luke's once lost blue lightsaber that was given to him by Obi-Wan Kenobi in A New Hope. There are some discrepancies in the story as it was written prior to anything related to the prequel trilogy but those could easily be cleaned up with a film adaptation. Again, this could be a great subplot to a film in which there would be another great conflict occurring.
