Star Wars 7: 8 Expanded Universe Villains We Could See For Episode VII

3. Darth Krayt And The One Sith

Much like the passing of the torch in the Rule of Two, Lumiya's passing of the One Sith would go to Darth Krayt. When originally introduced in Dark Horse Comics Legacy series, which takes place over 100 years after the events of the original trilogy, Darth Krayt was a very mysterious character. It would later be revealed that was he was a fallen Jedi named A'Sharad Hett from the days of the Old Republic. Hett had survived the Jedi Purge unleashed by Palpatine with Order 66 at the end of the Clone Wars. After escaping the Jedi Purge, Hett would fall to the Dark Side and ended up in the Unknown Regions a prisoner of the Yuuzhan Vong where we would become Darth Krayt. Although much of Darth Krayt's story takes place years after the events of the original trilogy, it would still be feasible to break the canon of the Expanded Universe and alter that story to fit the context of Episode VII and set him up as the main antagonist. Krayt represents the evil that has sustained through both trilogies in the Sith but could represent something new in the way of creating a battle that sees an army of Jedi against an army of Sith. Imagine something on par with the Battle of Geonosis from Episode II with armies of Jedi and Sith. Insert salivation here...
