1. Mandalorian Civil War

War...if there's one thing it IS good for, it's telling stories. And when it comes to Star Wars, the Mandalorian Civil War would make a fantastic television show. Basically, it deals with a violent civil war on the Outer Rim world of Mandalore, set some years before the Clone Wars.

it's clear right now that Disney is focusing on using film to move the Star Wars story forward, but the Mandalorian Civil War would be an absolutely incredible way to change fan's opinions of the time period in and around the prequels. Why not use live-action television to explore Star Wars' past?

The show could centre on Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi, who spent a year on the planet during the war in order to protect Duchess Satine Kryze. Each week fans would be given a glimpse into the relationship between the two Jedi, how Obi-Wan Kenobi was trained during the war.

It's perfect for television for a bunch of reasons. For a start, it deals with familiar characters, so it'd immediately appeal to fans. There's action (the war saw multiple bounty hunters attempt to kill the Jedi and the Duchess), romance (during their year together Obi-Wan and the Duchess fell in love) and a significant relevance to the overall Star Wars canon.
